A downloadable nightmare for Windows
RedDoors is a first-person horror game where players explore a mysterious hospital to uncover its secrets by walking down different rooms that form a series of linked areas in a circular pattern. The game’s background is built in a hospital setting that is meant to test the capabilities of the game’s graphics by using complex lighting, real-looking textures, and special effects. Players step into each room with no knowledge of what is waiting for them in each step they take in search of the Red Doors’ secrets.

Click the Download button to get the game files.

Once downloaded, extract the
.ziparchive to a folder of your choice. -
Open the extracted folder and run RedDoors.exe to start the game.

Endlosschleife am Ende? Kann keine Seitentüren öffnen immer nur die eine Tür am Ende des Ganges.Als man später diese eine Türe nicht öffnen kann kann man ja nur zur neuen auf der rechten Seite gehen.Dann kommt ein Raum mit zwei Türen...und egal welche man nimmt kommt man immer wieder am Anfang raus.Soll das so sein?

Das Spiel wurde absichtlich so gestaltet, dass es kein richtiges Ende gibt. Fast alle Spiele haben ein „Happy End“, aber dieses hier nicht.
Das Thema des Game Jams war „Here we go again“ – also „Schon wieder das Gleiche“. Selbst am Ende, wenn man zwischen zwei Türen wählen kann, ist das nur eine Illusion der Wahl. Egal, welche Tür man nimmt – das Ergebnis bleibt dasselbe: man landet wieder am Anfang.
Das ist Teil der Idee: Das Spiel ist eine Endlosschleife, aus der man nicht entkommen kann.
ah,ok :) Dann werde ich demnächst doch mal ein Video dazu machen.Wollte nur nicht ein halbfertiges oder verbugtes Spiel zeigen,was zur zeit leider bei sehr vielen Game Jam Spielen vor kommt.Zeitdruck etc. Mein erster Eindruck von deinem Spiel war nämlich ein guter :) Viel Erfolg bei der Game Jam!
